The NSFAF Acknowledgement Letter 2025/2026. What is the importance of the NSFAF Acknowledgement Letter?

The NSFAF Acknowledgement Letter is a message that proves that your NSFAF Application has been received.

NSFAF will provide you with an acknowledgment letter detailing your name, student number and study details. The acknowledgement letter does not guarantee funding, it simply informs you that your application has been received.

Details of What Happens after receiving the NSFAF Acknowledgement Letter 2025/2026

You application will then be validated. The validation process ensures that all information is factual, you have met all requirements and all documents are uploaded. Applicants with pending documents will be notified (via sms and email) to upload documents. Documents should be uploaded before the application due date.

Successful applicants will then be notified via email and ‘Track my application’ link. Students will receive a final award letter detailing personal details, study details as well as fees to be paid. Students are encouraged to make sure all details indicated in the award letter are correct. Updates and corrections should be made at the NSFAF offices in your respective region.

Contracts will then be uploaded on the applicants’ portal where students can download them, sign them and scan and upload back on their portals. Further details will be stipulated in the contract.

Rejected applicants will also be notified via email and sms with a valid rejection motive. No appeals will be provided to applicants and no documents will be accepted after the rejection status.
