FULL-TIME COURSES FOR JANUARY INTAKE

ACADEMIC AND APPLIED SCIENCES DEPARTMENT

SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY LEVEL

Entry Qualifications:

Five (5) credits which must include English Language, Biology, Mathematics and Science / Physics and Chemistry

MATURE ENTRY: 3 “0” Level credits plus a recognized field certificate in a relevant DURATION: Three (3) Years

SCIENCE LABORATORY TECHNOLOGY LEVEL

Entry Qualifications: Science Laboratory Technician (Certificate)

DURATION: One (1) Year.

BUSINESS STUDIES DEPARTMENT

DIPLOMA IN HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT
DIPLOMA IN MARKETING
DIPLOMA IN PRODUCTION MANAGEMENT
DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER STUDIES
DIPLOMA IN BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION/BUSINESS MANAGEMENT LEVEL. DURATION: 3 years
ZICA TECHNICIAN LEVEL
BANKING & FINANCE

Entry Qualifications: (1-7 ) School Certificate equivalent with Credits in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics

ZICA LICENTIATE LEVEL

Entry Qualifications: Holders of NATech or any other qualification as Determined by ZICA

ZICA PROFESSIONAL LEVEL

Entry Qualifications: Licentiate Level, Accounting degree from a recognized institution or any other qualification as may be approved by ZICA

DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER SYSTEMS ENGINEERING

CHARTERED INSTITUTE OF PURCHASING & SUPPLY (CIPS)

ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS: 4 ‘O’ Level credits or better including English

COMMUNICATION SKILLS DEPARTMENT

ENGLISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced (for 1 & 2)

Entry Qualifications: know how to read and write in your own language

DURATION: Six (6) Months to Intermediate Level & 1 Year for Advanced Level

CERTIFICATE IN-LIBRARY STUDIES & INFORMATION SCIENCE

DURATION: One (1) year

Entry Qualifications: A full G.12 Certificate with at least 3 credits which must Include English Language

DIPLOMA IN LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SCIENCE

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS: 5 school credits including English.

HIGH SCHOOL ENGLISH TEACHERS DIPLOMA

ENTRY REQUIREMENT: For school leavers a minimum of 4 credits & merit in English

DURATION: Three (3) Years

DIPLOMA IN LIBRARY STUDIES FINAL Entry Qualifications: Certificate

DURATION: Two (2) years

Entry Qualifications: Five (5) Credits which must include English Language.

MATURE ENTRY: Three school Certificate credits plus 2 years working experience

CERTIFICATE IN FASHION AND DESIGNING

Entry Qualifications: A Full Grade Twelve Certificate

DURATION: Two (2) years

HEALTH SCIENCES DEPARTMENT
DIPLOMA IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES
DIPLOMA IN PHARMACY
DIPLOMA IN PHYSIOTHERAPY
DIPLOMA IN RADIOGRAPHY

DURATION: Three (3) Years (1-4)

DIPLOMA IN ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH

Entry Qualifications: Credits in Five (5) subjects including English Language, Mathematics, Biology & Science/ Physics, Chemistry.

PHARMACY ABRIDGED (LEVEL 2)

Entry Qualifications: Certificate in Pharmacy Dispensing

DURATION: Two & Half (2 ½) Years

ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN MEAT AND OTHER FOODS

Entry Qualifications: Diploma in environmental Healthy

DURATION: One (1) year.

MEDIA STUDIES DEPARTMENT

DIPLOMA IN JOURNALISM

Entry Qualifications:

A Merit in English Language & Credits in four subjects which must include History & Geography.

MATURE ENTRY: Three (3) ‘O’ Level credits which must include English Language & a certificate in a relevant field and or two years’ working experience DURATION: Three (3) Years.

PRINT TECHNICIAN

Entry Qualifications:

Five (5) O’ Level Credits including English Language, Mathematics & Science.

MATURE ENTRY: Three (3) ‘O’ Level passes including English Language plus two years’ working experience.

DURATION: Two & half (2 ½) Years

REQUIREMENTS: All prospective applicants should submit the following items together with the Application form:

Photocopy of Grade Twelve School Certificate/ Statement of Results.
Photocopy of National Registration Card/ Passport
Self – Addressed Envelope with a stamp on.

IN ADDITION:

Disabled applicants to attach a photocopy of the Medical Certificate of Disability.
Mature Age applicants (who are in employment), to submit a letter of Recommendation/ Commitment to sponsor from the employers, and or Certificate (s) in the relevant field.

N.B.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST ENSURE THAT NAMES ON ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED CORRESPOND (ARE UNIFORM) WITH THOSE ON THE NATIONAL REGISTRATION CARD/ PASSPORT, FAILURE TO WHICH, THEY MUST SUBMIT AN AFFIDAVIT OF OATH FROM THE COURT.
