KUCCPS is the Government of Kenya body that undertakes the selection of students for admission to higher learning institutions for Government sponsorship.

The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service is established under the Universities Act, 2012.

Details of KUCCPS Admission Requirements 2025-2026

KUCCPS Eligibility (Your grade and What you can apply for)

K.C.S.E candidates who will meet the cut-off points set by KUCCPS for admission to degree and diploma programmes will be required to follow the online instructions.

The minimum admission requirement to apply for degree programmes will be C+ for female candidates and B- for male students.

Artisan courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions Admission Requirements = D – or E

Certificate/Craft Courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions Admission Requirements = D and D+

Diploma courses in National Polytechnics and other Technical and Vocational Education and Training institutions Admission Requirements = C and C –
