We advise all graduation applicants to follow the graduation procedures as illustrated by the school. After confirming the graduation date, graduation applicants can then go ahead to check and download the Graduation list. Login to your UCC Student Portal to check your fees outstanding and clear yourself.
The UCC Graduation Ceremony 2024/25
To qualify for the award of a degree, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:
- Pass all courses taken – general, faculty, or departmental courses
- Meet Inter-Faculty course requirements
- Accumulate a minimum of 120 credits (including Advance Credits)
- Attain a minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (C.G.P.A) of 1.0
- Settle all financial and other obligations to the University
- Be in good standing – not barred for disciplinary reasons
Graduation Fee
- The University of Cape Coast College of Distance Education (UCC CoDE) indicates that graduands are to pay a graduation fee of GHC370 at any GCB Bank Ltd. nationwide using the Smartpay Platform.
Deadline For Payment Of Graduation Fees
- June 2024, students who want to pick up their diplomas within the allotted time frame must pay all outstanding fees and graduation costs.
Requirements For Issuance Of Certificates
- Before receiving their certificates, all graduates are required to present photocopies of their student or national identification cards.
- Graduates will have to pick up their certificates at the university if they don’t make the deadline as planned.
Registration and Collection of Gowns/Souvenirs
Graduands who wish to be presented are to register through their respective portals after payment of graduation fees.
Graduands can get their gowns and souvenirs at the following avenues:

PAYMENT OF GRADUATION FEE
The amount of GH¢400.00 is required to be paid by each graduand

Rehearsals
All graduands are required to attend rehearsals at New Examination Centre at 4:00 p.m. a day before their graduation session. Only registered graduands who attend the rehearsals will be presented.
Distribution of Certificates
Certificates will be available for collection after each session. Graduates will be expected to show their ID Cards and clearance chits for inspection before collection of the Certificates.
Accommodation
Graduands who may need accommodation are expected to make their own arrangements at the Halls of Residence or Hostels on campus.
Dress code: Anything Formal.
