Steps on How to Apply for Admission Online for 2025/2026 Academic Year
Step 1: Click the Application form link. (In the top right hand corner find the download button and download the form to your computer. You will have the option to open in Adobe format, after which you can fill out the form by typing the particulars into the PDF. You can also open the form with the “Open With Different Viewer” also in the top right corner to immediately launch the form in the fillable PDF format. You will be able to fill in by typing your particulars).
Step 2: Complete the form clearly in type-written block letters.
Step 3: Attach a passport size photograph to the application form.
Step 4: Ensure your application form is endorsed by the International Office of your university.
Step 5: Pay application fee of USD110.00 (one hundred and ten US dollars) into the following account:

The University of Ghana Online Application Instructions for 2025/2026 Admission
- Applicants should access the institution’s Admission URL http://www.ug.edu.gh
- Signup using full name, email, and mobile no. Please note that your name must be similar to the one on your supporting documents for your application to be considered.
- A password will be sent to both your email and mobile number.
- The system will prompt you to change the password to the one you can easily remember.
- To fill out a form the applicant clicks on the apply now button displayed on the running scheme.
Obtain a payment advice slip by clicking on the “Pay for the Form” button and get the reference which you will take to the bank.
NOTE:
- You are advised against submitting false information or forged documents.
- Candidates who obtained results D, E, and F in their external exams need not to apply, since they do not meet the admission requirements.
- Students who are already registered on University of Ghana courses are not ELIGIBLE to apply
