GRADUATION CEREMONY
1. Date and Venue
- All graduating Students (the November and June classes) are hereby advised that the Graduation Ceremony has been tentatively scheduled for the of October.
- The ceremony will be held at the University’s Main Campus Sports Arena.
- Graduands and their guests are supposed to be seated by 0900hrs. Graduands who arrive late will not be allowed into the Graduation Ceremony Venue.
2. Rehearsals
- Graduation rehearsals are tentatively scheduled for October 2016 starting at 1400hrs at the University’s Main Campus Sports Arena.
- Attendance for rehearsals is compulsory and graduands who do not attend rehearsals will not be allowed to take part in the graduation proceedings.
3. Graduands and Guests Invitation Cards
- Each graduand will be allowed to bring a maximum of two (2) guests.
- Graduands will collect their invitation cards from their respective Schools upon production of proof of payment for graduation fees.
4. Outstanding Tuition Fees and Graduation Fees
- Graduands with outstanding tuition fees are advised to clear the balances with the Bursar’s Office and pay the Graduation Fee of US$40 so as to be able to graduate and be included in the graduation booklet. The deadline for the payment of the Graduation Fees is October.
- Graduands are further advised that Graduation Fees would only be accepted from those who do not have outstanding tuition fees balances.
- Please take note that Graduation Fees can be paid in cash at the Bursar’s department or deposited into any of the following University Bank Accounts:

- To avoid inconveniences, payment through RTGS should be made before 30 September 2016 and copies of same must be submitted to the Assistant Bursar’ (Accounts) for easy of updating students’ records.
6. Graduation Regalia
- All graduands are expected to be smartly dressed (dark suits with a white shirt and a dark tie for men and white blouse and dark skirt/trousers or dark dress for ladies).
- Graduands must be in possession of the correct Academic Regalia (gown, appropriate hood and cap) for their respective Schools. Those with inappropriate academic regalia will be excluded from the graduation proceedings.
