Entry Requirements:
Applicants must have 5 “O” level passes including English Language, Mathematics and a Science subject. All the above courses are offered to both apprentices and direct entry students except for Draughting and Design Technology (DDT) which is offered to direct entry students only.
Mode of study
All the courses are offered on both full time and part – time basis
DURATION OF NATIONAL CERTIFICATE COURSES
- For apprentices, the duration of all NC courses is 39weeks (i.e. one year or three 13 weeks college terms). For direct entry students the duration is 3 years full time as follows
- First year college attendance
- Second year industrial attachment
- Third year college attendance

A minimum of grade ‘C’ or better in all the subjects at ‘NC’ in the relevant disciplines or equivalent
Course Duration
6 x 13 weeks college terms of attendance plus 3 months recommended industrial attachment during college vacation.
