(NUST) National University of Science and Technology Civil & Water Engineering
It is one among the first Departments to open its doors to the first intake of students in 1991. It started as the Department Water Engineering and then later transformed into the Department of Civil and Water Engineering. It offers a multidisciplinary engineering degree programme in the areas of Water, Environment, Transportation, Geotechnology and Structural Engineering. See Also: NUST Zimbabwe Intake.

- Bachelor of Engineering Honours Degree in Civil & Water Engineering
This is a five-year degree programme on full time basis, each academic year representing a part of the degree programme. In Part IV the student is seconded to industry for industrial attachment.

Entry Regulations
- At least three ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry.
- At least three ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physics and either Computer Science, or Engineering Drawing with an ‘O’ level pass in Chemistry with ‘C’ grade or better.
- At least three ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Physical Science, and a third approved subject such as Computer Science, or Engineering Drawing with an ‘O’ level pass in Physics and Chemistry with a ‘C’ grade or better.
- At least three ‘A’ level passes in Mathematics, Chemistry and either Computer Science or Engineering Drawing with an ‘O’ level pass in Physics with ‘C’ grade or better.
Structure of the ProgrammeThe BEng (Hons) Programme requires full time study over a period of five years. In each year, other than the Industrial Attachment Period, in order to be regarded as a full-time student, a student shall register for and attend a minimum number of courses. A Part is essentially a year of study. Each course is designated as Part I, II, III IV or V course.See Also:
